Musicial Arts
The Centennial High School Orchestra and Band programs provide its students with a comprehensive music education and band experience. Band members participate in performance opportunities to showcase individual abilities and collective talents.
Students and band parents work together to raise funds, ensuring equitable access to extracurricular activities and performances. Band students and staff are provided with a dynamic and relaxed, focused environment that fosters high standards for music performance, high academic achievement, self-discipline and positive student behavior that maximizes the attainment of outlined goals.
Students interested in becoming a member of the Centennial band program must complete an audition or get a recommendation from their middle school band director.
Students may also choose to participate in the Centennial Orchestra. Students continually continually improve their individual playing ability and musical knowledge by participating in full ensemble experiences, chamber groups, and solos. Students practice for and participate in several performances throughout the year, which gives each musician invaluable knowledge and experiences. Our Director of Orchestra, Mrs. Carolyn Landreau, has worked tirelessly to cultivate a program that both challenges and nurtures all levels of musicians.
The Centennial High School Orchestra prides its excellence in music within the city of Roswell and the state of Georgia.
