Optional Device protection

This year FCS has made available to families Optional Device Protectional Plans for FCS student devices.

This plan provides families with affordable protection against accidental damage, loss, or theft of district-issued devices.

• Step-by-step written instructions for different parent scenarios:

  • Existing Parents with a Parent Portal account
  • New Parents creating a New Parent Portal account

 

• A short video walkthrough showing parents exactly how to complete the process.

• Important Update: The signup window for families has been extended through September 26, 2025.
  *After the close of the extended signup window families can still contact the Technology Support Center at 470-254-HELP (4357) to sign up for the plan. However, the local school-based Technology Support Specialist will inspect the device prior to initiating the coverage.
